ABOUT MELCHING MACHINE

Four generations of Melchings have continuously owned and operated our shop for more than 70 years.

Machining is a tough industry, and Melching Machine wouldn't have stayed in business for more than seven decades unless we're good at what we do. We’ve been battle-hardened by a demanding market that won’t accept anything less than the very best.

How have we stuck it out this long, through the economic ups and downs of the last 75 years? It's simple, really. Our diverse clients — in the automotive, appliance, oil, wind, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and medical technology industries — keep our skills sharp and on the leading edge of innovation. And we pride ourselves in establishing long-term relationships with our customers.

Experience says a lot about a company’s character and capabilities. With Melching Machine, you can count on our experience to bring you quality products, fair prices and on-time deliveries.

Capabilities

Melching Machine is a full-service contract machining facility. We specialize in the design and manufacture of prototype and production rubber molds — compression, transfer and injection.

Our modern air conditioned plant is equipped with an extensive machine inventory that includes CNC turning and machining centers, CNC electronic discharge machines and numerous conventional turning, milling, welding and sawing capabilities. This expansive mix of machines can tackle huge metal panels and tiny, complex parts. When feasible, we have a specially equipped vehicle to deliver your products.

Melching’s quality products are securing oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico, encasing windmill transmissions on wind farms in the plains states, and making medical wire, automotive parts, industrial appliances and more in countless advanced manufacturing environments around the U.S.A.
